Layer 6 – ASSURANCE
“Evaluation, Verification, and Scoring of Righteousness.”
0. Introduction
The Righteous Standards System (RSS) establishes a comprehensive framework for defining, structuring, and operationalizing righteousness across individuals, roles, institutions, and domains. Layers 1 through 4 define the ontological and structural foundations of righteousness—its axioms, foundational components, alignment principles, and structural expressions. Layer 5 defines the standardized processes through which righteous actions are executed.
Layer 6 – Assurance serves as the measurement, verification, and evaluation engine of the entire RSS. It transforms the principles, structures, and processes established in the preceding layers into auditable, quantifiable, and improvable metrics. This layer defines the universal scoring framework, the specific scoring methodologies for individuals, roles, institutions, and domains, and the rules for compositing scores into holistic assessments.
1. Purpose of Layer 6
The purpose of this layer is to:
- Define the universal architecture of righteous scoring, including inputs, criteria, scales, verification rules, and integrity requirements.
- Establish discrete scoring methodologies for individuals (People Scoring), Roles (Role Scoring), Institutions and Domains (Domain Scoring), and Combined entities (Composite Scoring).
- Enable independent verification of righteousness claims.
- Support accountability through transparent, auditable records.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps and enabling targeted corrective actions.
2. Structure of Layer 6
Layer 6 consists of five major components:
6.1 — Scoring Framework
Defines the universal structure of righteous scoring, including inputs, criteria, scales, verification rules, and integrity requirements.

6.2 — People Scoring
Addresses the evaluation of righteousness at the individual level, including Personal Virtue Scoring, Behavioral Alignment Scoring, Corrective Action Scoring, and Transparency and Accountability Scoring.

6.3 — Role Scoring
Addresses the evaluation of righteousness as expressed through specific roles, extending from Layer 4A (People Roles). Includes Role-Specific Criteria, Role Performance Scoring, and Role-Specific Scoring Patterns.
Subpage: RSS 37006-6.3 — Role Scoring
6.4 — Domain Scoring
Addresses the evaluation of righteousness within institutional domains, extending from Layer 4B (Institutional Domains). Includes Domain-Specific Criteria, Domain Performance Scoring, and Domain-Specific Scoring Architectures.

6.5 — Composite Scoring
Defines how to combine multiple scoring types (People, Role, Domain, Institutional) into a single, integrated assessment. Includes Aggregation Methodology, Composite Score Applications, and the Highest-Level Assurance Mechanism.

3. Relationship to Other Layers
| Layer | Contribution to Layer 6 |
|---|---|
| Layer 1 – Fundamentals | Provides the axioms (Axioms 1–4) that define what righteousness is and what it requires. |
| Layer 2 – Foundation | Provides the foundational components and domains that scoring evaluates. |
| Layer 3 – Alignment | Provides the alignment principles and requirements that scoring verifies. |
| Layer 4 – Structure | Provides the role and domain structures that define what is being scored. |
| Layer 5 – Process | Provides the standardized processes that scoring evaluates and verifies. |
| Layer 6 – Assurance | (This layer) Provides the measurement, verification, and scoring mechanisms. |
| Layer 7 – Restoration | Receives scoring outputs to identify failures, plan restoration, and track recovery. |
