RSS 37006-6.2:2026– People Scoring

1. Purpose

People Scoring addresses the evaluation of righteousness at the individual level. It answers the question: To what extent does this person embody and practice righteousness?

This standard establishes the specific scoring methodologies for assessing individual virtue, behavioral alignment, corrective action, and transparency and accountability.

2. Scope

This standard applies to all individuals subject to evaluation of their personal righteousness within the RSS framework. It is universally applicable across all roles, institutions, and domains.

This standard covers four discrete scoring types:

  • Personal Virtue Scoring
  • Behavioral Alignment Scoring
  • Corrective Action Scoring
  • Transparency and Accountability Scoring

3. Normative References

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this standard:

  • RSS 37001:2026 – Fundamentals Standard (Layer 1)
  • RSS 37002:2026 – Foundation Standard (Layer 2)
  • RSS 37003:2026 – Alignment Standard (Layer 3)
  • RSS 37006:2026 – Assurance Standard (Layer 6, Main Catalog)
  • RSS 37006-6.1:2026 – Scoring Framework

All scoring methodologies defined in this standard shall be interpreted in a manner fully consistent with the axioms, foundational components, alignment principles, and scoring framework established in the referenced documents.

4. Core Content

People Scoring consists of four normative components:

4.1 Personal Virtue Scoring

Personal Virtue Scoring evaluates an individual’s alignment with the core virtues defined in RSS 37001 (Axiom 2).

The core virtues assessed shall include:

  • Love
  • Wisdom
  • Respect for law
  • Honesty
  • Integrity
  • Fairness
  • Justice
  • Reflection
  • Acknowledgment of wrongdoing
  • Correction
  • Humility
  • Respect

Each virtue shall be assessed based on demonstrable evidence of its consistent manifestation in the individual’s:

  • Thoughts – internal beliefs and reasoning patterns.
  • Speech – verbal expressions, declarations, and communications.
  • Actions – observable behaviors and decisions over a defined evaluation period.

Scoring shall consider both the frequency and the depth of virtuous manifestation, giving appropriate weight to sustained demonstration over time.

4.2 Behavioral Alignment Scoring

Behavioral Alignment Scoring evaluates the consistency between three critical dimensions of an individual’s righteousness:

DimensionDescription
Declared ValuesWhat the individual professes to believe and value.
Internal BeliefsWhat the individual genuinely holds as true, as evidenced by consistent patterns of choice and judgment.
External ActionsWhat the individual actually does in practice.

Misalignment among these three elements constitutes a violation of righteousness, as established in RSS 37002, Component 3 (Value Consistency).

Scoring shall:

  • Identify the nature, extent, and frequency of such misalignments.
  • Weight misalignments according to their material impact on the individual’s role, responsibilities, and relationships.
  • Distinguish between occasional, minor misalignments (requiring corrective action) and persistent, substantial misalignments (indicating foundational integrity failure).

4.3 Corrective Action Scoring

Corrective Action Scoring evaluates an individual’s response when righteousness has been compromised. Drawing from RSS 37001 (Axiom 4 – Restoration Requirement), this scoring assesses five sequential elements:

ElementAssessment Question
ReflectionHas the individual honestly examined their failure, including its causes and consequences?
AcknowledgmentHas the individual openly, sincerely, and without evasion admitted wrongdoing?
CorrectionHas the individual taken concrete, effective, and timely steps to rectify the harm?
RestorationHas the individual successfully repaired the damage caused to all affected parties?
Sustained ImprovementHas the individual demonstrated lasting behavioral change over a defined follow-up period?

Scoring shall weight these elements according to the severity of the original failure and the individual’s opportunity and capacity to respond appropriately. A pattern of repeated failures without genuine correction shall result in significantly lower scores.

4.4 Transparency and Accountability Scoring

Transparency and Accountability Scoring evaluates an individual’s commitment to openness and responsibility, as established in RSS 37002 (Components 4 and 5).

This scoring assesses:

ComponentEvaluation Criteria
OpennessThe individual’s willingness to disclose relevant information proactively and upon request.
ResponsivenessThe individual’s willingness to answer questions, submit to review, and engage with legitimate inquiries.
Responsibility OwnershipThe individual’s acceptance of responsibility for their actions, decisions, and their consequences, without evasion or deflection (RSS 37002, Component 4).
Commitment to TruthfulnessThe individual’s demonstrated commitment to honesty, transparency, accuracy, and truth-seeking in all communications and representations (RSS 37002, Component 5).

Scoring shall consider both the individual’s conduct during normal operations and their conduct during times of challenge, criticism, or investigation.

5. Relationship to Other Layer 6 Components

ComponentHow It Relies on 6.2
6.1 – Scoring FrameworkProvides the foundational inputs, criteria, scales, verification rules, and integrity requirements applied in all People Scoring activities.
6.3 – Role ScoringPeople Scoring provides the baseline individual virtue assessment that role-specific scoring builds upon and contextualizes.
6.4 – Domain ScoringPeople Scoring of individuals within a domain contributes to the overall domain righteousness assessment.
6.5 – Composite ScoringPeople Scores are aggregated as a distinct input into composite righteousness assessments.
