0. Introduction
The Righteous Standards System (RSS) establishes a comprehensive framework for defining, structuring, and operationalizing righteousness across individuals, roles, institutions, and domains. Layers 1 through 4 define the ontological and structural foundations of righteousness—its axioms, foundational components, alignment principles, and structural expressions. Layer 5 defines the standardized processes through which righteous actions are executed.
Layer 6 – Assurance serves as the measurement, verification, and evaluation engine of the entire RSS. It transforms the principles, structures, and processes established in the preceding layers into auditable, quantifiable, and improvable metrics. This layer defines the universal scoring framework, the specific scoring methodologies for individuals, roles, institutions, and domains, and the rules for compositing scores into holistic assessments.
1. Purpose of Layer 6
The purpose of this layer is to:
- Define the universal architecture of righteous scoring, including inputs, criteria, scales, verification rules, and integrity requirements.
- Establish discrete scoring methodologies for individuals (People Scoring), Roles (Role Scoring), Institutions and Domains (Domain Scoring), and Combined entities (Composite Scoring).
- Enable independent verification of righteousness claims.
- Support accountability through transparent, auditable records.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps and enabling targeted corrective actions.
2. Structure of Layer 6
Layer 6 consists of five major components:
6.1 — Scoring Framework
Defines the universal structure of righteous scoring, including inputs, criteria, scales, verification rules, and integrity requirements.
